Abstract
The vehicle includes a power storage device, a temperature control device configured to be capable of regulating the temperature of the power storage device, and a processing device. When the vehicle is capable of supplying power to a predetermined facility and cooling or heating of the power storage device is required, the processing device is programmed to determine whether the power storage device is to be cooled or heated by supplying power from the power storage device to the temperature control device or by using energy from the predetermined facility.
Claims6
A vehicle, comprising:
- a power storage device;
- a temperature control device configured to be capable of regulating a temperature of the power storage device;
- and
- a processing device, wherein
- when the vehicle is capable of supplying power to a predetermined facility and cooling or heating of the power storage device is required, the processing device is programmed to:
- determine whether the power storage device is to be cooled or heated by supplying power from the power storage device to the temperature control device or by using snow and ice heat or waste heat from the predetermined facility, and
- generate instructions for regulating the temperature of the power storage device, and
- the temperature control device regulates the temperature of the power storage device based on instructions from the processing device.
A predetermined facility, comprising:
- a processing device, wherein
- when a vehicle, including a power storage device and a temperature control device configured to be capable of regulating a temperature of the power storage device, is capable of supplying power to the predetermined facility and cooling or heating of the power storage device is required, the processing device is programmed to:
- determine whether the power storage device is to be cooled or heated by supplying power from the power storage device to the temperature control device or by using snow and ice heat or waste heat from the predetermined facility, and
- generate instructions for regulating the temperature of the power storage device, and
- the temperature control device regulates the temperature of the power storage device based on instructions from the processing device.
A processing system, comprising:
- a vehicle including a power storage device, a temperature control device configured to be capable of regulating a temperature of the power storage device, and a first processing device;
- and a predetermined facility including a second processing device, wherein
- when the vehicle is capable of supplying power to the predetermined facility and cooling or heating of the power storage device is required, the first processing device or the second processing device is programmed to:
- determine whether the power storage device is to be cooled or heated by supplying power from the power storage device to the temperature control device or by using snow and ice heat or waste heat from the predetermined facility, and
- generate instructions for regulating the temperature of the power storage device, and
- the temperature control device regulates the temperature of the power storage device based on instructions from the processing device.
