## Abstract

An example operation may include one or more of determining, by a vehicle, points of interest (POIs) and attributes of the POIs based on preferences of an occupant of the vehicle, capturing measurements, by the vehicle, of a state of charge (SOC) of a battery installed within the vehicle as the vehicle moves along a route, determining that the SOC of the battery has fallen below a threshold based on the measurements, identifying, by the vehicle, a plurality of charging stations based on a current location of the vehicle, determining, by the vehicle, an optimal charging station among the plurality of charging stations based on distances from the current location of the vehicle to the plurality of charging stations, historical travel routes of the vehicle, and the attributes of the POIs, and routing, by the vehicle, the vehicle to the optimal charging station.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method performed by a vehicle, the method comprising:
determining a point of interest (POI) based on a preference of an occupant of the vehicle;
identifying a plurality of charging stations based on a current location of the vehicle and the POI;
identifying a charging station from the plurality of charging stations based on distances from the current location to the plurality of charging stations and an attribute of the POI;
autonomously controlling the vehicle to travel to the charging station;
determining that the occupant has left the vehicle during a charging operation by the charging station;
upon identifying a change in a status of the charging station, automatically sending a message to a mobile device to cause the mobile device to display the change in status;
upon detecting that the mobile device is moving away from the vehicle after the change in status has been displayed, automatically prompting the mobile device to request that the occupant perform an action.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the attribute comprises:
a person associated with the occupant currently being located at the POI.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the attribute comprises;
one or more of an activity at the POI or a weather condition at the POI.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising:
detecting that a battery of the vehicle is currently receiving a charge from the charging station, and
wherein the determining that the occupant has left the vehicle is based on global positioning system (GPS) coordinates from the mobile device.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the identifying of the charging station comprises:
identifying the charging station based on execution of an artificial intelligence (AI) model on the current location, the plurality of charging stations, historical travel routes of the vehicle, and the attribute of the POI.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising:
determining a route from a current location of the vehicle to the charging station, wherein the autonomous control is performed by an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) of the vehicle.

### Claim 7

A vehicle comprising:
a processor that executes instructions stored in a memory to configure the processor to:
determine a point of interest (POI) based on a preference of an occupant of the vehicle,
identify a plurality of charging stations based on a current location of the vehicle and the POI,
identify a charging station from the plurality of charging stations based on distances from the current location to the plurality of charging stations and an attribute of the POI,
autonomously control the vehicle to travel to the charging station,
detect that the occupant has left the vehicle during a charging operation by the charging station,
upon identification of a change in a status of the charging station, automatically send a message to a mobile device to cause the mobile device to display the change in status,
upon detection that the mobile device is moving away from the vehicle after the change in status has been displayed, automatically prompt the mobile device to request that the occupant perform an action.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The system of claim 7, wherein the attribute comprises:
a person associated with the occupant currently being located at the POI.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The system of claim 7, wherein the attribute comprises:
one or more of an activity at the POI or a weather condition at the POI.

### Claim 10 (depends on 7)

The system of claim 7, wherein the processor is configured to:
detect that a battery of the vehicle is currently receiving a charge from the charging station, and
wherein, when the processor determines that the occupant has left the vehicle, the processor is configured to
determine that the occupant has left the vehicle based on global positioning system (GPS) coordinates from the mobile device.

### Claim 11 (depends on 7)

The system of claim 7, wherein the processor identifies the charging station based on execution of an artificial intelligence (AI) model on the current location, the plurality of charging stations, historical travel routes of the vehicle, and the attribute of the POI.

### Claim 12 (depends on 7)

The system of claim 7, wherein the processor is configured to:
determine a route from a current location of the vehicle to the charging station, wherein the autonomous control is performed by an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) of the vehicle.

### Claim 13

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor of a vehicle, cause the processor to perform:
determining a point of interest (POI) based on a preference of an occupant of the vehicle;
identifying a plurality of charging stations based on a current location of the vehicle and the POI;
identifying a charging station from the plurality of charging stations based on distances from the current location to the plurality of charging stations and an attribute of the POI;
autonomously controlling the vehicle to travel to the charging station;
determining that the occupant has left the vehicle during a charging operation by the charging station;
upon identifying a change in a status of the charging station, automatically sending a message to a mobile device to cause the mobile device to display the change in status;
upon detecting that the mobile device is moving away from the vehicle after the change in status has been displayed, automatically prompting the mobile device to request that the occupant perform an action.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)
