## Abstract

An ink-repellent member includes a base and an ink-repellent film. The base includes at least one of silicon oxide and tantalum oxide. The ink-repellent film includes a fluorine compound chemically bonded to the base via at least a siloxane bond. The fluorine compound includes a fluorine compound A having a linear molecular structure and an average molecular weight of 1500 or more, and a fluorine compound B having a linear molecular structure and a smaller average molecular weight than the fluorine compound A. The fluorine compound A has a siloxane structure only at a one end of the linear molecular structure, and the fluorine compound B has a siloxane structure or a phosphonic acid structure only at a one end of the linear molecular structure.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An ink-repellent member, comprising:
a base including at least one selected from the group consisting of silicon oxide and tantalum oxide; and
an ink-repellent film including a fluorine compound chemically bonded to the base via at least a siloxane bond,
wherein the fluorine compound includes a fluorine compound A having a linear molecular structure and an average molecular weight of 1500 or more, and a fluorine compound B having a linear molecular structure and a smaller average molecular weight than the fluorine compound A,
wherein the fluorine compound A has a siloxane structure only at one end of the linear molecular structure, and
wherein the fluorine compound B has a siloxane structure only at one end of the linear molecular structure and is represented by structural formula (1):
wherein:
X is an OR group or a chloro group, and R is an alkyl group; and
n is an integer of 0 or more.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The ink-repellent member according to claim 1, wherein the fluorine compound B has the average molecular weight of 1000 or less.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The ink-repellent member according to claim 1, wherein the fluorine compound A has a main chain including a perfluoropolyether structure and has a CF3 group at an end.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The ink-repellent member according to claim 1, wherein the fluorine compound B has a main chain including a perfluoroalkylene structure.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The ink-repellent member according to claim 1, wherein the fluorine compound A has the average molecular weight of 4000 or more.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The ink-repellent member according to claim 1, wherein the fluorine compound A includes at least one selected from the group consisting of repeating structures represented by structural formulas (2) to (5):

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The ink-repellent member according to claim 1, wherein a number of molecules of the fluorine compound A (NA) and a number of molecules of the fluorine compound B (NB) in the fluorine compound satisfy a relationship NA/(NA+NB)≤0.75.
