Abstract
The invention relates to an inspection device (42) for a converting machine (10), the inspection device comprising a camera (49) configured to capture an image of a portion of a blank (1) provided with a reference mark (30). The camera is arranged inside an external housing shroud (70), and wherein a thermoelectric element (78) is arranged between the camera and the external housing shroud.
Claims20
An inspection device for a converting machine, the inspection device comprising:
- a camera configured to capture an image of a portion of a blank provided with a reference mark, the camera being arranged inside an external housing shroud,
- wherein the camera comprises an optical module and an electronic processing module,
- wherein an isolating inner housing is arranged inside the external housing shroud and is enclosing the camera,
- wherein a thermoelectric element is arranged between the isolating inner housing and the external housing shroud, wherein a cold side of the thermoelectric element directly abuts an external surface of the isolating inner housing and a warm side of the thermoelectric element directly abuts an internal surface of the external housing shroud to cool the camera, and
- wherein the electronic processing module is thermally connected to the thermoelectric element.
