CASINGS OR CONSTRUCTIONAL DETAILS OF ELECTRIC APPARATUS; MANUFACTURE OF ASSEMBLAGES OF ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ## Abstract A protection tape for a printed circuit board (PCB) includes an insulating base plate, a conductive layer over the insulating base plate, and an adhesive layer over the conductive layer, the adhesive layer including a main part having a first thickness and a subsidiary part having a second thickness less than the first thickness, the main part corresponding to at least a center portion of the insulating base plate and the subsidiary part being arranged at an outside of the main part. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A display device comprising: a display panel; a printed circuit board (PCB) electrically connected to the display panel; and a protection tape covering one surface of the PCB, wherein the protection tape comprises: an insulating base plate; a conductive layer over the insulating base plate; and an adhesive layer over the conductive layer, the adhesive layer comprising a main part corresponding to at least a center portion of the insulating base plate and a subsidiary part arranged at an outside of the main part, and the main part has a first thickness and the subsidiary part has a second thickness less than the first thickness, and a modulus of the subsidiary part is greater than a modulus of the main part. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein: each of the main part and the subsidiary part includes oligomers and monomers, and a ratio of the monomers to oligomers in the subsidiary part is higher than a ratio of the monomers to oligomers in the main part. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the subsidiary part surrounds the main part. ### Claim 4 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the main part and subsidiary part are disconnected and spaced apart from each other. ### Claim 5 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the PCB comprises: a first portion attached to a surface of the display panel; a second portion attached to a surface of the protection tape; and a bent portion bent between the first portion and the second portion. ### Claim 6 (depends on 5) The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the first portion of the PCB, the display panel, and the second portion of the PCB partially overlap each other in a thickness direction of the display panel. ### Claim 7 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display panel comprises: a third portion; a fourth portion attached to a surface of the PCB; and a bent portion bent between the third portion and the fourth portion. ### Claim 8 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a distance from an upper surface of the insulating base plate to an upper surface of the main part of the adhesive layer is the same as a distance from the upper surface of the insulating base plate to an upper surface of the subsidiary part of the adhesive layer. ### Claim 9 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the conductive layer has an integral one-piece form consisting of a common material and includes a center part having a third thickness, and an edge part having a fourth thickness greater than the third thickness, the center part of the conductive layer corresponding to the main part of the adhesive layer and the edge part of the conductive layer corresponding to the subsidiary part of the adhesive layer. ### Claim 10 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the subsidiary part comprises a conductive material. ### Claim 11 A display device comprising: a display panel; a printed circuit board (PCB) electrically connected to the display panel; at least one electronic device over the PCB; and a protection tape covering one surface of the PCB and arranged between the at least one electronic device and the PCB, wherein the protection tape comprises: an insulating base plate; a conductive layer over the insulating base plate; and an adhesive layer over the conductive layer, the adhesive layer comprising a main part corresponding to at least a center portion of the insulating base plate and a subsidiary part arranged at an outside of the main part, and the main part has a first thickness and the subsidiary part has a second thickness less than the first thickness, and each of the main part and the subsidiary part includes oligomers and monomers. ### Claim 12 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein a ratio of the monomers to oligomers in the subsidiary part is higher than a ratio of the monomers to oligomers in the main part. ### Claim 13 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein a modulus of the subsidiary part is greater than a modulus of the main part. ### Claim 14 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the at least one electronic device comprises a battery or a camera module. ### Claim 15 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the subsidiary part surrounds the main part. ### Claim 16 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the main part and subsidiary part are disconnected and spaced apart from each other. ### Claim 17 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the PCB comprises: a first portion attached to a surface of the display panel; a second portion attached to a surface of the protection tape; and a bent portion bent between the first portion and the second portion. ### Claim 18 (depends on 17) The display device as claimed in claim 17, wherein the first portion of the PCB, the display panel, and the second portion of the PCB partially overlap each other in a thickness direction of the display panel. ### Claim 19 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the display panel comprises: a third portion; a fourth portion attached to a surface of the PCB; and a bent portion bent between the third portion and the fourth portion. ### Claim 20 (depends on 11) The display device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the conductive layer has an integral one-piece form consisting of a common material and includes a center part having a third thickness, and an edge part having a fourth thickness greater than the third thickness, the center part of the conductive layer corresponding to the main part of the adhesive layer and the edge part of the conductive layer corresponding to the subsidiary part of the adhesive layer.
