Abstract
An information processing device includes a storage unit that stores data and a processor. The information processing device is capable of communicating with a first terminal. The storage unit stores specification data related to an operation of a machine device that operates based on an operation program of the machine device and an application for performing predetermined processing related to the operation of the machine device based on the specification data. And, the processor executes the application based on an operation from the first terminal to perform the predetermined processing related to the machine device selected based on the operation from the first terminal.
Claims8
An information processing device that is capable of communicating with a user terminal, the information processing device comprising:
- a memory storing;
- robot specification data including technical information indicating operational capabilities and constraints of a robot;
- environment data indicating an installation location and a planned use of the robot;
- a plurality of ore-set template operation programs corresponding to different robot-use patterns;
- and
- a plurality of program-generation applications having different algorithms and respectively associated with one or more of the pre-set template operation programs;
- and
- a processor programmed to:
- receive the environment data from the user terminal;
- construct a virtual robot system in a virtual space based on the robot specification data and the received environment data;
- execute different ones of the plurality of program-generation applications using the received environment data to generate a plurality of different customized operation programs for the robot from the plurality of pre-set template operation programs;
- perform a simulation of the virtual robot system using the plurality of different customized operation programs;
- and
- output information enabling comparison of the plurality of different customized operation programs or robot systems.
