Embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise an adapter to couple a wire to a solder joint, with the adapter comprising a solder joint receiving hole and a wire attachment terminal.
Claims13
An adapter to couple a wire to a solder joint, said adapter comprising
- a solder joint receiving hole configured as a blind or through-hole cavity dimensioned to receive and mechanically retain the solder joint;
- and
- a wire attachment terminal comprising a threaded cavity intersecting said solder joint receiving hole such that a wire is securable to the adapter independently of the solder joint.
