Ophthalmic treatment apparatus and control method therefor

An ophthalmic treatment apparatus comprising:

• a treatment beam generation unit for generating a treatment beam which is radiated to a treatment area;
• a sensing unit for sensing a signal generated as a state of an eye tissue of the treatment area changes due to each treatment beam radiated to the treatment area;
• a guide unit for displaying, to a user, information about damage to the eye tissue caused by each treatment beam radiated on the basis of the signal sensed by the sensing unit;
• and
• a setting unit for setting at least one reference value using a signal sensed by the sensing unit while each treatment beam is radiated to a test area,
• wherein the guide unit determines a grade indicating a degree of damage to the eye tissue caused by each treatment beam using the at least one reference value, and displays the determined grade at a corresponding spot in the treatment area of an eyeground image, each spot corresponding to a respective treatment beam,
• wherein the grade indicating the degree of damage to the eye tissue is determined by comparing the signal sensed by the sensing unit during treatment with the at least one reference value.
