Abstract
A technology as disclosed and claimed herein provides a dough based pasta item or other dough based item that is a healthier alternative to conventional pastas and other dough based products. This invention results in a dough pasta item that has more protein, more complete protein, and fewer carbohydrates than conventional milled wheat dough pasta. This product turns a traditionally less-healthy food into something that has more protein and lower carbohydrates.

A dough based pasta item comprising:
- a pasta dough and animal meat composition comprising, by weight of total mixture:
- 30% to 60% percent animal meat protein, 20% to 30% water, 10% to 15% non-animal protein, 5% to 10% flour, 0.5% to 2% oil and 0.1% to 0.5% of a binder.
