Abstract
To appropriately provide a textile that has a display function. A textile (100) includes warp and weft that are woven, where the weft is covered by a light emitting layer, electrode layers that sandwich the light emitting layer, and a protective layer that sandwiches the electrode layers, the weft includes an exposed region in which a part of the protective layer is removed, and the warp is conductive warp that is arranged so as to come into contact with the exposed region.

A textile including:
- warp;
- and
- weft, wherein
- the warp and the weft are woven,
- the weft is covered by a light emitting layer, electrode layers that sandwich the light emitting layer, and a protective layer that sandwiches the electrode layers,
- the weft includes an exposed region in which a part of the protective layer is removed, and
- the warp is conductive warp that is arranged so as to come into contact with the exposed region.
