Abstract
Provided are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: performing, by a terminal device, first Small Data Transmission (SDT) on a pre-Configured Grant (CG) resource corresponding to a first Synchronization Signal Black (SSB), wherein the terminal device is in an inactive state; and performing, by the terminal device, second SDT on the CG resource corresponding to the first SSB. According to the method in the embodiments of the disclosure, SDT of a User Equipment (UE) in an inactive state can be implemented.
Claims20
A communication method, comprising:
- performing, by a terminal device, first Small Data Transmission (SDT) on a Configured Grant (CG) resource corresponding to a first Synchronization Signal Black (SSB), wherein the terminal device is in an inactive state;
- determining, by a terminal device, a first resource in a condition where Timing Advance (TA) corresponding to the terminal device is valid, Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP) of the first SSB meets a preset threshold and there is the CG resource corresponding to the first SSB;
- or, determining the first resource in a condition where the TA corresponding to the terminal device is valid, the first SSB does not meet the preset threshold, RSRP of a second SSB meets the preset threshold and there is a CG resource corresponding to the second SSB, wherein the first SSB is one of a plurality of SSBs, and the second SSB is an SSB in the plurality of SSBs other than the first SSB;
- and
- performing, by a terminal device, second SDT on the first resource.
A terminal device, comprising:
- a memory and a processor, wherein the memory is configured to store a program, and the processor is configured to call the program stored in the memory to cause the terminal device to:
- perform first Small Data Transmission (SDT) on a Configured Grant (CG) resource corresponding to a first Synchronization Signal Black (SSB), wherein the terminal device is in an inactive state;
- determine a first resource according to a second condition in a condition where Timing Advance (TA) corresponding to the terminal device is valid, Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP) of the first SSB meets a preset threshold and there is a CG resource corresponding to the first SSB;
- or, determine the first resource in a condition where the TA corresponding to the terminal device is valid, the first SSB does not meet the preset threshold, RSRP of a second SSB meets the preset threshold and there is a CG resource corresponding to the second SSB, wherein the first SSB is one of a plurality of SSBs, and the second SSB is an SSB in the plurality of SSBs other than the first SSB;
- and
- perform second SDT on the first resource.
A network device, comprising:
- a memory and a processor, wherein the memory is configured to store a program, and the processor is configured to call the program stored in the memory to cause the network device to:
- receive first Small Data Transmission (SDT) on a Configured Grant (CG) resource corresponding to a first Synchronization Signal Black (SSB) from a terminal device which is in an inactive state;
- and receive second SDT on a first resource from the terminal device,
- wherein the first resource is determined in a condition where Timing Advance (TA) corresponding to the terminal device is valid, Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP) of the first SSB meets a preset threshold and there is a CG resource corresponding to the first SSB;
- or,
- the first resource is determined in a condition where the TA corresponding to the terminal device is valid, the first SSB does not meet the preset threshold, the RSRP of the second SSB meets the preset threshold and there is a CG resource corresponding to the second SSB,
- wherein the first SSB is one of a plurality of SSBs, and the second SSB is an SSB in the plurality of SSBs other than the first SSB.
