Wireless communication apparatus for simultaneous transmit and receive(STR) / non-simultaneous transmit and receive(NSTR) mode switching in multi-link communication, communication control method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium

A communication control method, comprising:

• establishing a plurality of wireless links with another wireless communication apparatus;
• communicating while switching an operation mode between a first operation mode in which, while a packet is being transmitted to the other wireless communication apparatus via a first link of the plurality of wireless links, a packet is receivable from the other wireless communication apparatus via a second link different from the first link, and a second operation mode in which, while the packet is being transmitted via the first link, the packet is not received via the second link;
• and
• switching the operation mode from the second operation mode to the first operation mode when a ratio of acknowledgement packets to packets received from the other wireless communication apparatus in a started application is higher than a ratio of acknowledgement packets to packets received from the other wireless communication apparatus in another application.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a wireless communication apparatus to perform operations comprising:

• establishing a plurality of wireless links with another wireless communication apparatus;
• communicating while switching an operation mode between a first operation mode in which, while a packet is being transmitted to the other wireless communication apparatus via a first link of the plurality of wireless links, a packet is receivable from the other wireless communication apparatus via a second link different from the first link, and a second operation mode in which, while the packet is being transmitted via the first link, the packet is not received via the second link;
• and
• switching the operation mode from the second operation mode to the first operation mode when a ratio of acknowledgement packets to packets received from the other wireless communication apparatus in a started application is higher than a ratio of acknowledgement packets to packets received from the other wireless communication apparatus in another application.
