Efficient signalling of features combination for random access channel partitioning

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory including computer program code,
• wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to:
• receive a radio resources configuration comprising at least one feature combination configuration associated with at least one random access resources configuration, wherein
• the at least one associated random access resources configuration is associated with access conditions for the at least one feature combination configuration,
• the at least one feature combination configuration is associated with at least one of coverage enhancement, network slicing, reduced capability user equipment, or small data transmission, and
• the radio resources configuration indicates at least:
• a first radio access partition assigned to a first slice group identifier of a first network slice group comprising at least one first network slice, and
• a second radio access partition assigned to a second slice group identifier of a second network slice group comprising at least one second network slice.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising program instructions in which a computer program is stored that, when executed by a computer, is configured to provide instructions to cause an apparatus at least to:

• receive a radio resources configuration comprising at least one feature combination configuration associated with at least one random access resources configuration, wherein
• the at least one associated random access resources configuration is associated with access conditions for the at least one feature combination configuration,
• the at least one feature combination configuration is associated with at least one of coverage enhancement, network slicing, reduced capability user equipment, or small data transmission, and
• the radio resources configuration indicates at least:
• a first radio access partition assigned to a first slice group identifier of a first network slice group comprising at least one first network slice, and
• a second radio access partition assigned to a second slice group identifier of a second network slice group comprising at least one second network slice.
