Methods and apparatuses for multi-TRP transmission

A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the UE to:
• receive at least two configured grant (CG) configurations in a bandwidth part (BWP), each CG configuration of the at least two CG configurations including a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set index for indicating an SRS resource set used to transmit one or more repetitions of a transport block (TB) according to a corresponding CG configuration for a first type of CG or a second type of CG;
• wherein, for the first type of CG, corresponding SRS resources are determined by an SRS resource indicator (SRI) and the SRS resource set index, the SRI and the SRS resource set index configured in the corresponding CG configuration;
• wherein, for the second type of CG, corresponding SRS resources are determined by an SRI indicated in downlink control information (DCI) and the SRS resource set index configured in the corresponding CG configuration, wherein the DCI activates the corresponding CG configuration;
• and
• transmit the one or more repetitions of the TB on one or more physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission occasions from each CG configuration of the at least two CG configurations based at least in part on the SRS resource set.

A base station (BS) for wireless communication, comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the BS to:
• transmit at least two configured grant (CG) configurations in a bandwidth part (BWP), each CG configuration of the at least two CG configurations including a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set index for indicating an SRS resource set used to transmit one or more repetitions of a transport block (TB) according to a corresponding CG configuration for a first type of CG or a second type of CG;
• wherein, for the first type of CG, corresponding SRS resources are determined by an SRS resource indicator (SRI) and the SRS resource set index, the SRI and the SRS resource set index configured in the corresponding CG configuration;
• wherein, for the second type of CG, corresponding SRS resources are determined by an SRI indicated in downlink control information (DCI) and the SRS resource set index configured in the corresponding CG configuration, wherein the DCI activates the corresponding CG configuration;
• and
• receive the one or more repetitions of the TB on one or more physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission occasions from each CG configuration of the at least two CG configurations based at least in part on the SRS resource set.

A method performed by a base station (BS), the method comprising:

• transmitting at least two configured grant (CG) configurations in a bandwidth part (BWP), each CG configuration of the at least two CG configurations including a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set index for indicating an SRS resource set used to transmit one or more repetitions of a transport block (TB) according to a corresponding CG configuration for a first type of CG or a second type of CG;
• wherein, for the first type of CG, corresponding SRS resources are determined by an SRS resource indicator (SRI) and the SRS resource set index, the SRI and the SRS resource set index configured in the corresponding CG configuration;
• wherein, for the second type of CG, corresponding SRS resources are determined by an SRI indicated in downlink control information (DCI) and the SRS resource set index configured in the corresponding CG configuration, wherein the DCI activates the corresponding CG configuration;
• and
• receiving the one or more repetitions of the TB on one or more physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission occasions from each CG configuration of the at least two CG configurations based at least in part on the SRS resource set.
