Methods and devices for configuring a plurality of beams for transmitting data

A method performed by a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• transmitting, to repeater, configuration information on a time resource for an aperiodic forwarding;
• and
• transmitting, to the repeater, downlink control information, DCI, including information for indicating a beam and information for indicating the time resource associated with the beam for the aperiodic forwarding, and
• wherein a transmission and a reception of a signal are performed on the time resource corresponding to the beam,
• wherein the configuration information includes information on an offset and information on a duration associated with the time resource.

A repeater comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one transceiver;
• and
• at least one memory, communicatively coupled to the at least one processor, storing instructions executable by the at least one processor individually or in any combination to cause the repeater to:
• receive, from a base station, configuration information on a time resource for an aperiodic forwarding,
• receive, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including information for indicating a beam and information for indicating the time resource associated with the beam for the aperiodic forwarding, and
• transmit, to a terminal, signal on time resource corresponding to the beam,
• wherein the configuration information includes information on an offset and information on a duration associated with the time resource.

A base station comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one transceiver;
• and
• at least one memory, communicatively coupled to the at least one processor, storing instructions executable by the at least one processor individually or in any combination to cause the base station to:
• transmit, to a repeater, configuration information on a time resource for an aperiodic forwarding, and
• transmit, to the repeater, downlink control information, DCI, including information for indicating a beam and information for indicating the time resource associated with the beam for the aperiodic forwarding, and
• wherein a transmission and a reception of a signal are performed on the time resource corresponding to the beam,
• wherein the configuration information includes information on an offset and information on a duration associated with the time resource.
