Abstract
Provided is a method for wireless communication. The method includes: monitoring, by a terminal device, a first paging early indication (PEI) transmitted by a network device, wherein the first PEI comprises first wake-up indication information, the first wake-up indication information comprising first indication information, the first indication information comprising M bits and being a wake-up indication for a first paging occasion (PO) corresponding to the first wake-up indication information, the first PO being a PO associated with the first PEI, and M being greater than or equal to 1.
Claims11
A method for wireless communication, performed by a terminal device, comprising:
- reporting first capability information to a network device, wherein the first capability information indicating whether the terminal device has a first capability, the first capability being a capability of the terminal device in a case that a paging early indication (PEI) capability and a group paging capability are bound;
- and
- monitoring paging on each paging occasion (PO) of the terminal device in a case that the terminal device has the first capability but no available group identifier in a current cell.
A terminal device, comprising:
- a processor and a memory, wherein the memory is configured to store one or more computer programs, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- report first capability information to a network device, wherein the first capability information indicating whether the terminal device has a first capability, the first capability being a capability of the terminal device in a case that a paging early indication (PEI) capability and a group paging capability are bound;
- and
- monitor paging on each paging occasion (PO) of the terminal device in a case that the terminal device has the first capability but no available group identifier in a current cell.
