Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, a system information block (SIB) that includes first timing information. The UE may transmit, to the second UE, second timing information associated with an update to the first timing information. Numerous other aspects are described.

A first user equipment (UE), comprising:
- one or more antennas;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to one or more memories, configured to cause the first UE to:
- receive, from a network entity, a system information block (SIB) that includes first timing information,
- wherein the first timing information indicates a first time corresponding to a first slot boundary of
- a first frame of a radio link frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, and
- wherein the first frame is identified by a system frame number (SFN);
- transmit, to a second UE, the SIB,
- wherein frames of the radio link frame structure, used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, are not aligned with frames of a sidelink frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the first UE to the second UE;
- and
- transmit, to the second UE, second timing information associated with an update to the SIB,
- wherein the second timing information indicates a timing offset that corresponds to a time difference between the first time and a second time corresponding to a second slot boundary of a second frame of the sidelink frame structure.
A first user equipment (UE), comprising:
- one or more antennas;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to one or more memories, configured to cause the first UE to:
- receive, from a second UE, a request for a system information block (SIB) that is associated with a network entity;
- receive, from the network entity, the SIB,
- wherein the SIB includes first timing information that is based at least in part on a first value, associated with first UE, that corresponds to a second value, associated with the network entity,
- wherein the first timing information indicates a first time corresponding to a first slot boundary of
- a first frame of a radio link frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, and
- wherein the first frame is identified by a system frame number (SFN);
- transmit, to the second UE, the SIB,
- wherein frames of the radio link frame structure, used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, are not aligned with frames of a sidelink frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the first UE to the second UE;
- and
- transmit, to the second UE, second timing information associated with an update to the SIB,
- wherein the second timing information indicates a timing offset that corresponds to a time difference between the first time and a second time corresponding to a second slot boundary of a second frame of the sidelink frame structure.
A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving, from a network entity, a system information block (SIB) that includes first timing information,
- wherein the first timing information indicates a first time corresponding to a first slot boundary of a first frame of a radio link frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, and
- wherein the first frame is identified by a system frame number (SFN);
- transmitting, to a second UE, the SIB,
- wherein frames of the radio link frame structure, used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, are not aligned with frames of a sidelink frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the first UE to the second UE;
- and
- transmitting, to the second UE, second timing information associated with an update to the SIB,
- wherein the second timing information indicates a timing offset that corresponds to a time difference between the first time and a second time corresponding to a second slot boundary of a second frame of the sidelink frame structure.
A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving, from a second UE, a request for a system information block (SIB) that is associated with a network entity;
- receiving, from the network entity, the SIB,
- wherein the SIB includes first timing information that is based at least in part on a first value, associated with first UE, that corresponds to a second value, associated with the network entity,
- wherein the first timing information indicates a first time corresponding to a first slot boundary of a first frame of a radio link frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, and
- wherein the first frame is identified by a system frame number (SFN);
- transmitting, to the second UE, the SIB,
- wherein frames of the radio link frame structure, used for communicating the SIB from the network entity to the first UE, are not aligned with frames of a sidelink frame structure used for communicating the SIB from the first UE to the second UE;
- and
- transmitting, to the second UE, second timing information associated with an update to the SIB,
- wherein the second timing information indicates a timing offset that corresponds to a time difference between the first time and a second time corresponding to a second slot boundary of a second frame of the sidelink frame structure.
