Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first allocation, for reception of a downlink communication via a first cell, that is configured to be spaced by an amount of time from a second allocation for reception of a synchronization signal block (SSB) for a second cell. The UE may receive the downlink communication using resources of the first allocation and receiving the SSB using resources of the second allocation. Numerous other aspects are described.

A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
- transmit, to a serving cell, an indication of a capability to receive one or more of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), from one or more non-serving cells, on resources that overlap with communications from the serving cell;
- receive a first allocation, for reception of a downlink communication via the serving cell, that is configured to be spaced by an amount of time from a second allocation for reception of an SSB for a non-serving cell;
- and
- receive the downlink communication using resources of the first allocation and receive the SSB using resources of the second allocation.
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
- transmit, to a serving cell, an indication of a capability to receive one or more of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), from one or more non-serving cells, on resources that overlap with communications from the serving cell;
- receive a first allocation, for reception of a downlink communication via the serving cell, that overlaps with a second allocation for reception of an SSB for a non-serving cell;
- and
- receive the downlink communication during non-overlapping resources and receive the SSB during overlapping resources.
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
- transmit, to a serving cell, an indication of a capability to receive one or more of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), from one or more non-serving cells, on resources that overlap with a downlink communication from the serving cell;
- and
- receive, based at least in part on the indication, a first allocation for reception of the downlink communication from the serving cell that overlaps with a second allocation for reception of an SSB for a non-serving cell.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- transmitting, to a serving cell, an indication of a capability to receive one or more of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), from one or more non-serving cells, on resources that overlap with communications from the serving cell;
- receiving a first allocation, for reception of a downlink communication via the serving cell, that overlaps with a second allocation for reception of an SSB for a non-serving cell;
- and
- receiving the downlink communication during non-overlapping resources and receiving the SSB during overlapping resources.
