Synchronization method, devices, equipment and computer readable storage media

A user equipment (UE) in a communication system, the UE comprising:

• a transceiver;
• and
• a processor coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
• receive, from a base station, a first configuration of a portions of an adjustment time unit for uplink transmissions in a non-terrestrial network (NTN),
• identify a first number of subframes corresponding to the portions based on the first configuration, and
• transmit, to the base station, the uplink transmissions on a plurality of subframes corresponding to a plurality of portions based on adjusting a timing advance per each of the plurality of portions among the plurality of subframes on which the uplink transmissions are transmitted,
• wherein each of the plurality of portions corresponds to the first number of subframes.

A method performed by a base station (BS) in a communication system, the method comprising:

• identifying a first number of subframes corresponding to a portion of an adjustment time unit for uplink transmissions in a non-terrestrial network (NTN);
• transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), a first configuration of the portion;
• and
• receiving, from the UE, the uplink transmissions on a plurality of subframes corresponding to a plurality of portions,
• wherein the first configuration is used for configuring the UE to adjust a timing advance per each of the plurality of portions among the plurality of subframes on which the uplink transmissions are received, and
• wherein each of the plurality of portions corresponds to the first number of subframes.

A base station (BS) in a communication system, the BS comprising:

• a transceiver;
• and
• a processor coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
• identify a first number of subframes corresponding to a portion of an adjustment time unit for uplink transmissions in a non-terrestrial network (NTN),
• transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a first configuration of the portion, and
• receive, from the UE, the uplink transmissions on a plurality of subframes corresponding to a plurality of portions,
• wherein the first configuration is used for configuring the UE to adjust a timing advance per each of the plurality of portions among the plurality of subframes on which the uplink transmissions are received, and
• wherein each of the plurality of portions corresponds to the first number of subframes.
