Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of spatial adaptation for energy saving. The method comprises: receiving, at a first device from a second device, a change indication indicating at least one antenna port of which at least one antenna element is changed. The antenna port is active before and after the change. The method further comprises performing at least one of a measurement of at least one reference signal or a reception of a physical channel in consideration of the at least one antenna port. In this way, the first device may be informed about impact of spatial adaptation of the second device and is able to adapt the impacted channel state information measurement and/or reporting. As such, energy saving can be achieved.

Dependent claims

A first device comprising:

at least one processor;
and
at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first device at least to perform:
receiving, from a second device, a change indication indicating at least one antenna port of which at least one antenna element is changed, the antenna port being active before and after the change;
and
performing a reception of a physical channel in consideration of the at least one antenna port,
wherein the change indication comprises information indicating that at least one configuration related to the at least one antenna element or the at least one antenna port is subject to the change indication, and wherein the change indication indicates:
the at least one antenna element that has changed,
a number of the at least one antenna elements,
at least one transceiver corresponding to the at least one antenna port that has changed,
whether the number of at least one antenna element or a number of the at least one transceiver has changed,
whether the at least one antenna element or the at least one transceiver has changed, and
whether an energy level or a power level of the at least one antenna port has changed, and wherein the at least one configuration comprises the following:
a configuration of at least one resource for channel measurement,
a configuration of at least one resource for interference measurement,
a channel state information, CSI, triggering state configuration, and
a physical downlink channel configuration.

A non-transitory storage medium comprising instructions stored thereon for causing an apparatus at least to perform;

receiving, from a second device, a change indication indicating at least one antenna port of which at least one antenna element is changed, the antenna port being active before and after the change;
and
performing a reception of a physical channel in consideration of the at least one antenna port,
wherein the change indication comprises information indicating that at least one configuration related to the at least one antenna element or the at least one antenna port is subject to the change indication, and wherein the change indication indicates:
the at least one antenna element that has changed,
a number of the at least one antenna elements,
at least one transceiver corresponding to the at least one antenna port that has changed,
whether the number of at least one antenna element or a number of the at least one transceiver has changed,
whether the at least one antenna element or the at least one transceiver has changed, and
whether an energy level or a power level of the at least one antenna port has changed, and
wherein the at least one configuration comprises the following:
a configuration of at least one resource for channel measurement,
a configuration of at least one resource for interference measurement,
a channel state information, CSI, triggering state configuration, and
a physical downlink channel configuration.
