Abstract
Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to identify and select a wireless signal beam. In at least one embodiment, a wireless signal beam is identified and selected using a determined angle of arrival of one or more wireless signals at a base station or UE.
Claims14
One or more processors, comprising:
- circuitry to:
- use one or more neural networks to select one or more wireless signal beams from a circular array codebook, to be used to transmit one or more signals based, at least in part, on:
- assigning a score based, at least in part, on a difference between a codebook index distance associated with a first beam and a codebook index distance associated with a second beam of the circular array codebook, wherein the second beam is an adjacent neighbor to the first beam according to the circular array codebook;
- and
- selecting the one or more wireless signal beams based on the score.

A system, comprising:
- one or more processors to use one or more neural networks to select one or more wireless signal beams from a circular array codebook, to be used to transmit one or more signals based, at least in part, on:
- assigning a score based, at least in part, on a difference between a codebook index distance associated with a first beam and a codebook index distance associated with a second beam of the circular array codebook, wherein the second beam is an adjacent neighbor to the first beam according to the circular array codebook;
- and
- selecting the one or more wireless signal beams based on the score.

A method, comprising:
- selecting one or more wireless signal beams from a circular array codebook, to be used to transmit one or more signals, using a neural network, based, at least in part, on:
- assigning a score based, at least in part, on a difference between a codebook index distance associated with a first beam and a codebook index distance associated with a second beam of the circular array codebook, wherein the second beam is an adjacent neighbor to the first beam according to the circular array codebook;
- and
- selecting the one or more wireless signal beams based on the score.
