Certain aspects of the disclosure provide systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for proactive media curation using an on-device autonomous agent. A mobile device collects ambient context data via sensors and detects a composite event trigger based on a conjunction of conditions such as geofence exit, activity transition, and velocity threshold. The mobile device encodes the context data into a context vector and performs a first similarity search in a history space of a device-resident vector database to retrieve preference vectors. The mobile device computes a target media profile vector and performs a second similarity search in a catalog space to identify matching media vectors. The mobile device issues a playback request to an external media service without receiving an explicit user interface command. All processing occurs on-device using approximate nearest neighbor indices, preserving user privacy while achieving sub-50 millisecond decision latency.
