Abstract
An electronic device including an image display portion through which to display content; and at least one processor configured to set a calibration threshold value based on a usage environment of the electronic device, calculate an amount of an external impact applied to the electronic device, compare the calculated amount of the external impact and a magnitude of the set calibration threshold value, and perform a calibration of the image display portion based on the calculated amount of the external impact being greater than the set calibration threshold value.
Claims20
An electronic device comprising:
- an image display portion through which to display content;
- a memory that stores at least one instruction;
- and
- at least one processor configured to execute the at least one instruction stored in the memory,
- wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
- identify a usage environment based on at least one of the content, an operation mode, or illuminance,
- based on the identified usage environment, set a calibration threshold value,
- calculate an amount of an external impact applied to the electronic device,
- compare the calculated amount of the external impact and a magnitude of the set calibration threshold value, and
- perform a calibration of the image display portion based on the calculated amount of the external impact being greater than the set calibration threshold value.
A method of operating an electronic device including an image display portion through which to display content, the method comprising:
- identifying a usage environment based on at least one of the content, an operation mode, or illuminance,
- based on the identified usage environment, setting a calibration threshold value;
- calculating an amount of an external impact applied to the electronic device;
- comparing the calculated amount of the external impact with a magnitude of the set calibration threshold value;
- and
- performing a calibration of the image display portion based on the calculated amount of the external impact being greater than the set calibration threshold value in the comparing of the amount of the external impact with the calibration threshold value.
