Abstract
A method includes receiving an emergency request, the emergency request including a first text message and a geolocation; determining a call center, at least in part based on the geolocation; converting content of the first text message to a first voice message; and transmitting the first voice message to the call center.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving an emergency request, the emergency request including a first text message and a geolocation, the emergency request identifying an address;
- determining a call center, at least in part based on the geolocation;
- determining a key event, at least in part based on the first text message and at least one of a dictionary of key events, a thesaurus of key events, or a database that links words to key events;
- standardizing the first text message to a template based on the key event;
- converting content of the template to a first voice message;
- transmitting the first voice message to the call center;
- receiving an emergency response including a second voice message;
- converting the second voice message to a second text message;
- and
- transmitting the second text message to the address.

An apparatus, comprising:
- a network interface that receives an emergency request, the emergency request including a first text message and a geolocation, the emergency request identifying an address;
- and
- a processor configured to determine a call center, at least in part based on the geolocation, to determine a key event, at least in part based on the first text message and at least one of a dictionary of key events, a thesaurus of key events, or a database that links words to key events, to standardize the first text message to a template based on the key event, and to convert content of the template to a first voice message, wherein the network interface transmits the first voice message to the call center and receives an emergency response including a second voice message,
- the processor further is configured to convert the second voice message to a second text message, and
- the network interface transmits the second text message to the address.
2 more elements
A non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions that, when executed by a processor, perform operations comprising:
- determining a call center, at least in part based on a geolocation, wherein a network interface receives an emergency request, the emergency request including a first text message and the geolocation, the emergency request identifying an address;
- determining a key event, at least in part based on the first text message and at least one of a dictionary of key events, a thesaurus of key events, or a database that links words to key events;
- and
- standardizing the first text message to a template based on the key event;
- converting content of the template to a first voice message, wherein the network interface transmits the first voice message to the call center and receives an emergency response including a second voice message;
- converting the second voice message to a second text message;
- and
- transmitting the second text message to the address.
