Method and device for supporting sidelink DRX on basis of mode 1 CG resource in NR V2X

A first device comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a base station, period information related to configured grant (CG);
• determining a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process ID for a first period, based on a modulo function with a value obtained based on dividing time information of a first resource within the first period by a periodicity of the CG as dividend and a maximum number of HARQ processes as a divisor;
• transmitting, to a second device, a first transport block in the first period, based on the first HARQ process ID;
• starting a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer related to the first transport block;
• and
• determining a second HARQ process ID for a second period, based on a modulo function with a value obtained based on dividing time information of a second resource within the second period by the periodicity as dividend and the maximum number of HARQ processes as a divisor,
• wherein, based on that (i) the transmission of the first transport block is failed and (ii) the second HARQ process ID is equal to the first HARQ process ID, the DRX timer related to the first transport block is stopped in the second period, and
• wherein the second period is a period in which a second transport block is transmitted.

A processing device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a base station, period information related to configured grant (CG);
• determining a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process ID for a first period, based on a modulo function with a value obtained based on dividing time information of a first resource within the first period by a periodicity of the CG as dividend and a maximum number of HARQ processes as a divisor;
• transmitting, to a second device, a first transport block in the first period, based on the first HARQ process ID;
• starting a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer related to the first transport block;
• and
• determining a second HARQ process ID for a second period, based on a modulo function with a value obtained based on dividing time information of a second resource within the second period by the periodicity as dividend and the maximum number of HARQ processes as a divisor,
• wherein, based on that (i) the transmission of the first transport block is failed and (ii) the second HARQ process ID is equal to the first HARQ process ID, the DRX timer related to the first transport block is stopped in the second period, and
• wherein the second period is a period in which a second transport block is transmitted.
