Bracket assembly for photovoltaic system

A bracket assembly, comprising:

• a first section;
• a second section;
• a living hinge operably connecting the first section and the second section;
• wherein the living hinge is configured to move the first section and the second section between an unclamped position, where the first section and the second section are positioned at a greater angle with respect to each other, and a clamped position, where first section and the second section are positioned at a lesser angle with respect to each other;
• the first section having a first clamp channel;
• the second section having a second clamp channel;
• wherein the first section is positioned in opposition to the second section by the living hinge, the first clamp channel is oriented perpendicular to the second clamp channel;
• an actuator operably connected to the first section and the second section;
• wherein the actuator is configured to move the first section closer toward the second section when actuated to facilitate clamping of objects which are positioned within the first clamp channel and the second clamp channel, between the first section and the second section;
• wherein the first section and the second section are point symmetric to one another when rotated about a center point of the living hinge.

A bracket assembly, comprising:

• a first section;
• a second section;
• a living hinge operably connecting the first section and the second section;
• wherein the living hinge is configured to move the first section and the second section between an unclamped position, where the first section and the second section are positioned at a greater angle with respect to each other, and a clamped position, where the first section and the second section are positioned at a lesser angle with respect to each other;
• the first section having a first clamp channel;
• the second section having a second clamp channel;
• wherein the first section is positioned in opposition to the second section by the living hinge, the first clamp channel is oriented perpendicular to the second clamp channel;
• an actuator operably connected to the first section and the second section;
• wherein the actuator is configured to move the first section closer toward the second section when actuated to facilitate clamping of objects which are positioned within the first clamp channel and the second clamp channel, between the first section and the second section;
• wherein the actuator includes a carriage bolt and a nut;
• wherein the carriage bolt extends through a first hole in the first section and a second hole in the second section.

A bracket assembly, comprising:

• a first section;
• a second section;
• a living hinge operably connecting the first section and the second section;
• wherein the living hinge is configured to move the first section and the second section between an unclamped position, where the first section and the second section are positioned at a greater angle with respect to each other, and a clamped position, where the first section and the second section are positioned at a lesser angle with respect to each other;
• the first section having a first clamp channel;
• the second section having a second clamp channel;
• wherein the first section is positioned in opposition to the second section by the living hinge, the first clamp channel is oriented perpendicular to the second clamp channel;
• an actuator operably connected to the first section and the second section;
• wherein the actuator is configured to move the first section closer toward the second section when actuated to facilitate clamping of objects which are positioned within the first clamp channel and the second clamp channel, between the first section and the second section;
• wherein the first section and the second section are symmetric to one another when the living hinge is unfolded.
