Electrical protection devices comprising an integrated switching module

An electrical protection system comprising:

• a housing, connection terminals, separable electrical contacts connected between the connection terminals, a switching mechanism, and at least one power switch, which is connected in series with the separable electrical contacts, the separable electrical contacts being able to move between an open state and a closed state, the switching mechanism being coupled with the separable electrical contacts in order to switch the separable electrical contacts to the open state, the electrical protection system further comprising:
• an electronic control circuit coupled with the at least one power switch, the at least one power switch comprising a heat dissipation plate made of metal connected to an electrode of the at least one power switch, the heat dissipation plate being thermally connected to a body of the at least one power switch, and wherein the at least one power switch is connected in series with the separable electrical contacts between the connection terminals via a conductive plate connected to the heat dissipation plate of the at least one power switch.
