An information processing method comprising:

• receiving setting information indicating restriction of an entry to a partial region of a virtual space;
• setting, as a specific region, the partial region indicated by the setting information;
• obtaining age information of a user who operates an avatar in a case where the avatar attempts to enter the specific region;
• obtaining current date-and-time information;
• and
• determining whether to allow the avatar to enter the specific region based on whether the age information of the user satisfies a first condition, among one or more conditions and based on whether the current date-and-time information satisfies a second condition among the one or more conditions,
• wherein the setting information includes date-and-time information indicating a period during which the entry to the partial region is restricted, and wherein the second condition is satisfied when the current date-and-time information is within the period indicated by the date-and-time information.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute processing of:

• receiving setting information indicating restriction of an entry to a partial region of a virtual space;
• setting, as a specific region, the partial region indicated by the setting information;
• obtaining age information of a user who operates an avatar in a case where the avatar attempts to enter the specific region;
• determining whether to allow the avatar to enter the specific region based on whether the age information of the user satisfies a first condition among one or more conditions and based on whether the current date-and-time information satisfies a second condition among the one or more conditions,
• wherein the setting information includes date-and-time information indicating a period during which the entry to the partial region is restricted, and wherein the second condition is satisfied when the current date-and-time information is within the period indicated by the date-and-time information.
