Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to process image frames. In at least one embodiment, an application programming interface (API) is performed to disable frame interpolation to use one or more neural networks.

A processor, comprising:
- one or more circuits to:
- execute an application programming interface (API) that defines one or more parameters for frame interpolation;
- set, via an API call, at least one value for at least one parameter of the one or more parameters;
- and
- disable frame interpolation to use one or more neural networks according to the at least one parameter set by the API via the API call.
