Utilizing blockchain technology to automate service invoice processing

A system, comprising:

• memory to store computer executable instructions;
• and
• one or more processors, operatively coupled to the memory, that execute the computer executable instructions to implement:
• a service cataloger configured to define, via the at least one blockchain layer distributed amongst a plurality of blockchain nodes implemented over a network, a service catalog based on a service contract between a plurality of entities, wherein the service catalog includes a service line item and an associated delivery of service parameter defined in the service contract, wherein the service catalog is recorded on a blockchain, and wherein, to define the service catalog, the service cataloger is further configured to:
• provide, via the at least one blockchain layer distributed amongst a plurality of blockchain nodes, a standardized analysis template, thereby querying population of the standardized analysis template with data comprising the service line item and the associated delivery of service parameter;
• and
• consolidate, via the at least one blockchain layer distributed amongst a plurality of blockchain nodes, the data from the populated standardized analysis template;
• and
• a service delivery smart contract configured to determine, in real-time and via the at least one blockchain layer distributed amongst a plurality of blockchain nodes, a delivery status of the service line item by a matching algorithm comparing compliance of a value defined by a delivery detail recorded on the blockchain with a corresponding value defined by the associated delivery of service parameter, or by a lack of the value defined by the delivery detail recorded on the blockchain;
• and
• a service request generator configured to generate, via the at least one blockchain layer distributed amongst a plurality of blockchain nodes, a service request for a vendor from the plurality of entities to deliver the service line item to an enterprise from the plurality of entities, wherein, to generate a service request, the service request generator is further configured to select from the service catalog, or verify the presence therein of, the service line item to be delivered, and wherein the service request is recorded on the blockchain.
