Abstract
A method includes obtaining, via an audio sensor, audible signal data representing an utterance uttered in a physical environment of a device. The method includes generating a text representation of the audible signal data. The method includes displaying, on a display, within a messaging interface, the text representation as a message with a visual characteristic that is based on a visual appearance of a portion of the physical environment.
Claims17
A method comprising:
- at a device comprising an audio sensor, a display, one or more processors, and a non-transitory memory:
- obtaining, via the audio sensor, audible signal data representing an utterance uttered in a physical environment of the device;
- generating a text representation of the audible signal data;
- and
- displaying, on the display, within a messaging interface, the text representation as a message with a visual characteristic that indicates a visual appearance of a portion of the physical environment.
A device comprising:
- an audio sensor;
- a display;
- one or more processors;
- a non-transitory memory;
- and
- one or more programs stored in the non-transitory memory, which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the device to:
- obtain, via the audio sensor, audible signal data representing an utterance uttered in a physical environment of the device;
- generate a text representation of the audible signal data;
- and
- display, on the display, within a messaging interface, the text representation as a message with a visual characteristic that indicates a visual appearance of a portion of the physical environment.
A non-transitory memory storing one or more programs, which, when executed by one or more processors of a device with an audio sensor and a display, cause the device to:
- obtain, via the audio sensor, audible signal data representing an utterance uttered in a physical environment of the device;
- generate a text representation of the audible signal data;
- and
- display, on the display, within a messaging interface, the text representation as a message with a visual characteristic that indicates a visual appearance of a portion of the physical environment.
