Cost attribution using resource switching including receiving, from a first client computing system, a first request for a dataset from a cloud-based data warehouse; retrieving the dataset from the cloud-based data warehouse using a first resource warehouse that tracks resources used to service data requests on the cloud-based data warehouse; and presenting the dataset on the first client computing system.

A method comprising:
- receiving, from a first client computing system, a first request for a dataset from a cloud-based data warehouse;
- retrieving the dataset from the cloud-based data warehouse using a first resource warehouse that tracks resources used to service data requests on the cloud-based data warehouse that are associated with the first client computing system;
- and
- presenting the dataset on the first client computing system.
A system comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory, the processing device configured to:
- receive, from a first client computing system, a first request for a dataset from a cloud-based data warehouse;
- retrieve the dataset from the cloud-based data warehouse using a first resource warehouse that tracks resources used to service data requests on the cloud-based data warehouse that are associated with the first client computing system;
- and
- present the dataset on the first client computing system.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed, cause a processing device to:
- receive, from a first client computing system, a first request for a dataset from a cloud-based data warehouse;
- retrieve the dataset from the cloud-based data warehouse using a first resource warehouse that tracks resources used to service data requests on the cloud-based data warehouse that are associated with the first client computing system;
- and
- present the dataset on the first client computing system.
