Systems, methods, and interface for generating a unified asset knowledge graph and ontology for cloud-based assets

A computer-implemented method, comprising:

• causing display of a user interface of a frontend application on a display of a client device, the user interface including a plurality of input controls, the plurality of input controls including a first input control configured to enable a user of the client device to input a type of search criterion to be applied to a search, and a second input control configured to receive input from the user of the client device corresponding to a search query term;
• in response to receiving a message from the frontend application, determining the type of search criterion and the search query term from the received message;
• based on the determined search criterion and using the search query term, identifying a set of cloud-based tools of a plurality of cloud-based tools by searching a database storing the plurality of cloud-based tools, each cloud-based tool of the set of cloud-based tools having properties associated with the determined type of search criterion that match the search query term, wherein one or more cloud-based tools of the set of cloud-based tools are not yet deployed but are deployable to a user cloud-based computing environment;
• for at least a particular cloud-based tool that is not yet deployed from the set of cloud-based tools:
• determining a requirement to deploy the particular cloud-based tool to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• wherein the requirement is satisfied by an asset that is already deployed to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• wherein the already deployed asset comprises a dynamic asset including software resources that are deployed by a computer system to provide software functionality for the user cloud-based computing environment, and
• identifying one or more additional assets that are needed to satisfy other requirements to deploy the particular cloud-based tool to the user cloud-based computing environment without including—the already deployed asset even though the already deployed asset satisfies the requirement to deploy the particular cloud-based tool to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• wherein the additional assets comprise dynamic assets including software resources that are not yet deployed but are available for deployment by a computer system to provide software functionality for the user cloud-based computing environment;
• sending, to the client device, a response message, the response message including data corresponding to each cloud-based tool of the set of cloud-based tools and the additional assets identified for at least the particular cloud-based tool;
• receiving, from the user and based on the response message sent to the client device, a selection of the particular cloud-based tool of the set of cloud-based tools for deployment to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• identifying initial configuration parameters for deployment of the particular cloud-based tool and the additional assets identified for the selected cloud-based tool;
• wherein the initial configuration parameters comprise a parameter of the already deployed asset to satisfy the requirement;
• and
• building and deploying, to the user cloud-based computing environment, the particular cloud-based tool and the additional assets identified for the particular cloud-based tool using the initial configuration parameters while using the parameter of the already deployed asset to satisfy the requirement;
• wherein deployment of the particular cloud-based tool causes the particular cloud-based tool to provide integrated software functionality for the user cloud-based computing environment using the already deployed asset based on the parameter.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium embodying programmed instructions which, when executed by at least one processor of a backend system, cause the at least one processor to:

• cause to display a user interface of the frontend application on a display of the client device, the user interface including a plurality of input controls including a first input control and a second input control, the first input control configured to enable a user of the client device to input a type of search criterion to be applied to a search, and the second input control configured to receive input from the user of the client device corresponding to a search query term;
• in response to receiving a message from the frontend application, determine the type of search criterion and the search query term from the received message;
• based on the determined type of search criterion and using the search query term, search a database storing a plurality of cloud-based tools to identify a set of cloud-based tools of the plurality of cloud-based tools, each cloud-based tool of the set of cloud-based tools having pre-assigned properties associated with the search criterion that match the search query term, wherein at least some of the cloud-based tools of the set of cloud-based tools are not yet deployed but are deployable to a user cloud-based computing environment;
• for at least a particular cloud-based tool that is not yet deployed from the set of cloud-based tools:
• determine a requirement to deploy the particular cloud-based tool to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• wherein the requirement is satisfied by an asset that is already deployed to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• wherein the already deployed asset comprises a dynamic asset including software resources that are deployed by a computer system to provide software functionality for the user cloud-based computing environment, and
• identify additional assets that are needed to satisfy other requirements to deploy the particular cloud-based tool to the user cloud-based computing environment without including the already deployed asset even though the already deployed asset satisfies the requirement to deploy the particular cloud-based tool to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• wherein the additional assets comprise dynamic assets including software resources that are not yet deployed but are available for deployment by a computer system to provide software functionality for the user cloud-based computing environment;
• send, to the client device, a response message, the response message including data corresponding to each cloud-based tool of the set of cloud-based tools and the additional assets identified for at least the particular cloud-based tool;
• receive, from the user and based on the response message sent to the client device, a selection of the particular cloud-based tool of the set of cloud-based tools for deployment to the user cloud-based computing environment;
• identify initial configuration parameters for deployment of the particular cloud-based tool and the additional assets identified for the selected cloud-based tool;
• wherein the initial configuration parameters comprise a parameter of the at least one asset that is already deployed asset to satisfy the requirement;
• and
• build and deploy, to the user cloud-based computing environment, the particular cloud-based tool and the additional assets identified for the particular cloud-based tool using the initial configuration parameters while using the parameter of the already deployed asset to satisfy the requirement;
• wherein deployment of the particular cloud-based tool causes the particular cloud-based tool to provide integrated software functionality for the user cloud-based computing environment using the already deployed asset based on the parameter.
