Abstract
The present disclosure includes apparatuses and methods related to performing a debug operation on an artificial intelligence operation. An example apparatus can include a number of memory arrays and a controller, wherein the controller is configured to perform an artificial intelligence (AI) operation on data stored in the number of memory arrays and perform a debug operation on the AI operation.

An apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- a controller coupled to the memory;
- and
- an artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator coupled to the controller and the memory, wherein the AI accelerator is configured to create a custom activation function used by the AI accelerator to perform artificial intelligence (AI) operations by replacing an activation function with the custom activation function from a register of a table of registers.

- a host;
- and
- a memory device coupled to the host, wherein the memory device comprises:
- a register;
- and
- an artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator configured to:
- create a custom activation function;
- and
- perform an artificial intelligence (AI) operation using the custom activation function in response to the register indicating the custom activation function.

- performing a debug operation on the AI operation to identify errors of the AI operation;
