User interface implementation method and apparatus

A method, comprising:

• downloading, by a first electronic device, an application installation package of a first application, wherein the application installation package comprises a description file and a resource file, the description file is used to perform interface description and interface behavior definition on a first user interface (UI) of the first application, and the resource file comprises resources used to generate a UI of the first application, and the description file includes first code corresponding to a device type of the first electronic device and second code corresponding to a device type of a second electronic device;
• installing, by the first electronic device, the application installation package;
• and
• reading, by the first electronic device, the first code in the description file based on the device type of the first electronic device, and generating, based on a definition of the first code, the first UI of the first electronic device by using the resources in the resource file.

A method, comprising:

• displaying a development interface of a first application, wherein the development interface of the first application comprises a description file, and the description file is used to perform interface description and interface behavior definition on a first user interface (UI) of the first application;
• in response to a first operation entered by a user, adding first code corresponding to a device type of a first electronic device to the description file;
• in response to a second operation entered by the user, adding second code corresponding to a device type of a second electronic device to the description file, wherein the device type of the first electronic device is different from the device type of the second electronic device;
• and
• generating an application installation package of the first application based on the description file.

An electronic device, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a display;
• and
• a memory, wherein the memory stores one or more computer programs, the one or more computer programs comprise instructions, and when the instructions are executed by the electronic device, the electronic device is enabled to perform:
• downloading an application installation package of a first application, wherein the application installation package comprises a description file and a resource file, the description file is used to perform interface description and interface behavior definition on a first user interface (UI) of the first application, and the resource file comprises resources used to generate a UI of the first application, and the description file includes first code corresponding to a first device type of the electronic device and second code corresponding to a second device type, and the first device type is different from the second device type;
• installing the application installation package;
• and
• reading the first code in the description file based on the first device type of the electronic device, and generating, based on a definition of the first code, a first UI of the electronic device by using the resources in the resource file.
