Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes: a processor configured to: execute assignment of jobs to multiple printing devices such that sheet refilling timings of the multiple printing devices are shifted from each other.
Claims12
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- receive a plurality of jobs;
- sense a current amount of remaining sheets of each of a plurality of printing devices;
- calculate an amount of used sheets for each of the plurality of jobs;
- calculate a printing time period or a printing rate to perform printing of each of the plurality of jobs with respect to each of the plurality of printing devices;
- and
- execute assignment of the plurality of jobs to the plurality of printing devices such that sheet refilling timings of the plurality of printing devices do not overlap each other on the basis of the printing time period or the printing rate for each of the plurality of jobs with respect to the plurality of printing devices,
- wherein the assignment of the plurality of jobs comprises generating assignment patterns of jobs and comparing an interval between the sheet refilling timings indicated by the assignment patterns and a threshold value.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute processing comprising:
- receiving a plurality of jobs;
- sensing a current amount of remaining sheets of each of a plurality of printing devices;
- calculating an amount of used sheets for each of the plurality of jobs;
- calculating a printing time period or a printing rate to perform printing of each of the plurality of jobs with respect to each of the plurality of printing devices;
- and
- executing assignment of the plurality of jobs to the plurality of printing devices such that sheet refilling timings of the plurality of printing devices do not overlap each other on the basis of the printing time period or the printing rate for each of the plurality of jobs with respect to the plurality of printing devices,
- wherein the assignment of the plurality of jobs comprises generating assignment patterns of jobs and comparing an interval between the sheet refilling timings indicated by the assignment patterns and a threshold value.
