Modular peripheral display assembly sustainable power board architecture

A method for assembly of a peripheral display, the method comprising:

• extending plural posts out the back side of a display panel;
• forming plural slots in a power board having a power socket;
• sliding the plural slots at the plural posts to couple the power board to the display back side;
• and engaging, by the sliding, plural pins extending from a scalar board coupled to the back side into the power socket;
• and coupling a scalar board to the back side to align a first power connector of the power board with a second power connector of the scalar board;
• communicating power from the power board to the scalar board;
• communicating the power from the scalar board to a timing controller board;
• and coupling a riser to the scalar board, the riser board having a joystick exposed at the back side to accept end user inputs;
• and presenting an on screen display menu at the display panel in response to inputs at the joystick.

A peripheral display comprising:

• a display panel having a back side;
• one or more posts extending out of the back side;
• and a power board having one or more slots and a first power connector at a side of the power board, the power board one or more slots sliding at the one or more posts to couple the power board in a position at the back side with the first power connector aligned to directly connect the first power connector with a second power connector on a second board;
• and the second board comprises a scalar board having a scalar and the second power connector at a side aligned to couple directly to the first power connector;
• and a riser board having a first riser board connector and a joystick controller;
• and a second riser board connector coupled to the scalar board, first and second riser board connectors interfacing when the riser board couples to the scalar board with the joystick oriented to extend out from the back side and exposed to accept end user inputs.
