Abstract
An apparatus for a microscope system is provided. The apparatus comprising one or more processors and one or more storage devices. The one or more processors are configured to receive region information about an accessible spatial region for an objective of the microscope system and to trigger a restriction of a relative movement of the objective based on the region information.
Claims12
An apparatus for a microscope system, comprising one or more processors and one or more storage devices, wherein the one or more processors are coupled to the one or more storage devices and the one or more processors are configured to:
- receive region information about an accessible spatial region for an objective of the microscope system;
- trigger a restriction of a relative movement of the objective based on the region information;
- select an autofocus routine from a plurality of autofocus routines based on the restriction of the relative movement of the objective;
- and
- perform the selected autofocus routine under the restriction of the relative movement of the objective,
- wherein the region information comprises data about at least one of a topography of a currently used sample holder or a topography of a currently used sample.
An apparatus for a microscope system, comprising one or more processors and one or more storage devices, wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
- receive, from the microscope system, relative position information about a relative position of an objective of the microscope system;
- compare the relative position information with an accessible spatial region for the objective;
- control a relative movement of the objective based on the comparison so that the objective of the microscope system stays within the accessible spatial region;
- select an autofocus routine from a plurality of autofocus routines based on the accessible spatial region for the objective;
- and
- perform the selected autofocus routine based on the accessible spatial region for the objective,
- wherein the accessible spatial region is determined based on data about at least one of a topography of a currently used sample holder or a topography of a currently used sample.
A method for a microscope system, comprising:
- receiving region information about an accessible spatial region for an objective of the microscope system;
- triggering a restriction of a relative movement of the objective based on the information about the accessible spatial region;
- selecting an autofocus routine from a plurality of autofocus routines based on the restriction of the relative movement of the objective;
- and
- performing the selected autofocus routine under the restriction of the relative movement of the objective,
- wherein the region information comprises data about at least one of a topography of a currently used sample holder or a topography of a currently used sample.
A method for a microscope system, comprising
- receiving, from the microscope system, relative position information about a relative position of an objective of the microscope system;
- comparing the relative position information with an accessible spatial region of the objective;
- controlling a relative movement of the objective based on the comparison so that the objective of the microscope system stays within the accessible spatial region;
- selecting an autofocus routine from a plurality of autofocus routines based on the accessible spatial region of the objective;
- and
- performing the selected autofocus routine based on the accessible spatial region of the objective,
- wherein the accessible spatial region is determined based on data about at least one of a topography of a currently used sample holder or a topography of a currently used sample.
