Linear motor

A linear motor, comprising:

• an output shaft;
• a stator sleeved outside the output shaft;
• a rotor sleeved outside the output shaft and in screw-thread fit with the output shaft, wherein the rotor is coupled with the stator, wherein the rotor is driven to rotate by an electromagnetic force generated between the rotor and the stator and drives the output shaft to move axially in an axial direction;
• and
• a brake unit sleeved outside the output shaft and configured to apply braking to the output shaft,
• wherein the rotor comprises:
• a nut;
• and
• a first excitation assembly fixedly connected to an outer periphery of the nut,
• wherein the output shaft comprises a lead screw fitting with the nut, and the brake unit is sleeved on an outer side of the nut, and
• wherein the nut extends in the axial direction, the brake unit and the first excitation assembly are arranged at intervals in the axial direction, and the first excitation assembly, the stator and the brake unit all overlap with the nut in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.
