Abstract
This disc brake includes a first friction pad, a second friction pad, a piston, a caliper, a plate member, and an interlock member. The caliper has a cylinder portion, a bridge portion, a claw portion, and a recessed portion. The interlock member has a fixing portion which is fixed to the plate member, a first inward side folded interlock piece which extends in an axial direction of a cylinder hole from the fixing portion and in which a first inward side tip portion folded to an inward side of the cylinder hole in a radial direction abuts a groove, and a first outward side folded interlock piece which extends in the axial direction of the cylinder hole from the fixing portion and in which a first outward side tip portion folded an outward side of the cylinder hole in the radial direction abuts the groove.
Claims12
A disc brake comprising:
- an attachment member that is fixed to a non-rotation portion of a vehicle and provided in a manner of straddling an outer circumferential side of a disc;
- a first friction pad that is movably provided in the attachment member and disposed in a manner of facing one surface of the disc in an axial direction;
- a second friction pad that is movably provided in the attachment member and disposed in a manner of facing the other surface of the disc in the axial direction;
- a piston that pressurizes the first friction pad;
- a caliper that accommodates the piston to be able to move in the axial direction of the disc and has
- a cylinder portion which has a cylinder hole accommodating the piston,
- a bridge portion which is provided in a manner of straddling the outer circumferential side of the disc from the cylinder portion,
- a claw portion which is provided in a manner of facing the cylinder portion in an axial direction of the cylinder hole from the bridge portion, and
- a recessed portion which is provided in the claw portion in a manner of facing the cylinder hole and has a groove on an inner circumferential surface;
- a plate member that covers the recessed portion in the axial direction of the cylinder hole;
- and
- an interlock member that fixes the plate member to the caliper and has
- a fixing portion which is fixed to the plate member,
- a first inward side folded interlock piece which extends in the axial direction of the cylinder hole from the fixing portion and in which a first inward side tip portion folded to an inward side of the cylinder hole in a radial direction abuts the groove, and
- a first outward side folded interlock piece which extends in the axial direction of the cylinder hole from the fixing portion and in which a first outward side tip portion folded to an outward side of the cylinder hole in the radial direction abuts the groove.
A cover component for a disc brake, the disc brake including:
- an attachment member that is fixed to a non-rotation portion of a vehicle and provided in a manner of straddling an outer circumferential side of a disc;
- a first friction pad that is movably provided in the attachment member and disposed in a manner of facing one surface of the disc in an axial direction;
- a second friction pad that is movably provided in the attachment member and disposed in a manner of facing the other surface of the disc in the axial direction;
- a piston that pressurizes the first friction pad;
- and
- a caliper that accommodates the piston to be able to move in the axial direction of the disc and has
- a cylinder portion which has a cylinder hole accommodating the piston,
- a bridge portion which is provided in a manner of straddling the outer circumferential side of the disc from the cylinder portion,
- a claw portion which is provided in a manner of facing the cylinder portion in an axial direction of the cylinder hole from the bridge portion, and
- a recessed portion which is provided in the claw portion in a manner of facing the cylinder hole and has a groove on an inner circumferential surface;
- wherein the cover component comprises:
- a plate member that covers the recessed portion in the axial direction of the cylinder hole;
- and
- an interlock member that fixes the plate member to the caliper and has
- a fixing portion which is fixed to the plate member,
- a first inward side folded interlock piece which extends in the axial direction of the cylinder hole from the fixing portion and in which a first inward side tip portion folded to an inward side of the cylinder hole in a radial direction abuts the groove, and
- a first outward side folded interlock piece which extends in the axial direction of the cylinder hole from the fixing portion and in which a first outward side tip portion folded to an outward side of the cylinder hole in the radial direction abuts the groove.
