Abstract
A work machine monitoring system includes a measurement data acquisition unit that acquires measurement data of a ground on which a work machine travels by rotation of a rotating member included in the work machine, the rotating member contacting the ground, a boulder determination unit that determines presence or absence of a boulder on the ground in the measurement data, and a warning control unit outputs a warning from an output device based on presence or absence of the boulder on the ground in a traveling direction of the rotating member.
Claims19
A monitoring system for a work machine, comprising:
- a processor, the processor being configured to:
- acquire measurement data of a ground on which the work machine travels by rotation of a rotating member included in the work machine from a measuring device disposed in the work machine that measures the ground, the rotating member contacting the ground;
- determine presence or absence of a boulder on the ground in the measurement data;
- and
- output a warning based on the presence or absence of the boulder on the ground in a traveling direction of the rotating member;
- and
- wherein the work machine includes a transmission that switches the traveling direction of the work machine, where the processor is configured to output the warning when it is determined that the boulder exists on the ground in the traveling direction decided by the transmission.
A method for monitoring a work machine, comprising:
- acquiring measurement data of a ground on which the work machine travels by rotation of a rotating member included in the work machine, from a measuring device disposed in the work machine that measures the ground, the rotating member contacting the ground;
- determining presence or absence of a boulder on the ground in the measurement data;
- and
- outputting a warning when it is determined that the boulder exists on the ground in a traveling direction of the rotating member;
- and
- outputting the warning when it is determined that the boulder exists on the ground in the traveling direction decided by a transmission of the work machine that switches the traveling direction of the work machine.
