Abstract
A device for odor neutralization of food waste includes a chamber to receive food waste, the chamber having an inlet and an outlet, an odor neutralizer coupled with the inlet via a first flow path, the odor neutralizer to output particles to mitigate odor emitted from the food waste, and a filter coupled with the outlet via a second flow path to filter remaining odor in the second flow path.
Claims5
A device for odor neutralization of food waste, comprising:
- a chamber to receive food waste, the chamber having an inlet and an outlet;
- an odor neutralizer coupled with the inlet via a first flow path, the odor neutralizer to output particles to mitigate odor emitted from the food waste;
- a filter coupled with the outlet via a second flow path to filter remaining odor in the second flow path;
- a first housing forming the chamber;
- a second housing removably coupled with the first housing;
- and
- a lid movably coupled with the first housing to allow access for depositing the food waste in the chamber,
- wherein the odor neutralizer, the filter, the first flow path, and the second flow path are in the second housing,
- wherein the first flow path is separated from the second flow path, and
- wherein the inlet and the outlet are formed in the lid.
