Abstract
There is disclosed a bag having a tubular body with a top open end and a bottom closed end. The tubular body has a larger open diameter at the top open end. The tubular body narrows into a narrower open diameter adjacent to a bottom closed end. The tubular body in a flattened two-fold condition has a pair of side edges extending from a top edge to a bottom edge. The top edge delimits the top open end. The bottom edge delimits the bottom closed end. The pair of side edges are generally parallel to one another in a first portion adjacent to the top edge.
Claims19
A method for manipulating a deployed bag hanging from a disposal unit, comprising:
- unhooking a hooking section of the deployed bag from an upwardly projecting end of a bag support keeping the deployed bag open, the hooking section of the deployed bag having an unstretched transverse flattened two-fold width WA prior to hanging the deployed bag from the bag support, a funnel projecting downwardly, below the bag support, and forming a narrowed section having a narrower open cross-sectional area relative to and above a waste-receiving volume of the disposal unit and relative to an open cross-sectional area within an inner perimeter delimited by the bag support, a disposal section of the deployed bag received in the waste-receiving volume of the disposal unit to receive waste through the narrowed section, the disposal section of the deployed bag having an unstretched transverse flattened two-fold width WC prior to hanging the deployed bag that is smaller than the unstretched transverse flattened two-fold width WA of the hooking section prior to hanging the deployed bag;
- pulling the deployed bag upward such that a filled bottom of the deployed bag in the waste-receiving volume is taut and has a cross-sectional area, the cross-sectional area of the filled bottom being smaller than that of the hooking section;
- passing in upward movement the disposal section with the filled bottom of the deployed bag through the narrowed section of the disposal unit with the open cross-sectional area of the disposal section with the filled bottom being smaller than the cross-sectional area of the narrowed section for the disposal section with the filled bottom to exit from a top of the disposal unit.
