Fuel cell system and fuel cell vehicle

A fuel cell system mounted on a fuel cell electric vehicle, the fuel cell system comprising:

• a fuel cell stack;
• a power storage device connected to a power line between the fuel cell stack and a load mounted on the fuel cell electric vehicle;
• auxiliary devices configured to be driven by power supplied from the fuel cell stack;
• and
• a controller configured to control power generation of the fuel cell stack based on a state of charge of the power storage device and to control operation of the auxiliary devices, wherein
• the auxiliary devices include:
• a first auxiliary device that is directly involved in power generation of the fuel cell stack;
• and
• a second auxiliary device that is not directly involved in power generation of the fuel cell stack, and
• the controller is configured to stop power generation of the fuel cell stack and drive the second auxiliary device when a regenerative power supplied from the fuel cell electric vehicle to the fuel cell system is greater than or equal to a specified power and acceleration of the fuel cell electric vehicle is less than or equal to a specified acceleration.

A fuel cell electric vehicle, comprising:

• a fuel cell stack;
• a load;
• a power storage device connected to a power line between the fuel cell stack and the load;
• and
• a travel controlling unit configured to control travel of the fuel cell electric vehicle, wherein
• the travel controlling unit is configured to
• determine that the fuel cell electric vehicle is traveling uphill based on a requested power that the fuel cell electric vehicle requests from the power storage device, a speed of the fuel cell electric vehicle, an accelerator operation amount of the fuel cell electric vehicle, and an acceleration of the fuel cell electric vehicle, and
• increase a generated power of the fuel cell stack from the current generated power when determining that the fuel cell electric vehicle is traveling uphill,
• wherein the travel controlling unit is configured to
• change the generated power of the fuel cell stack in a range of 0 to a maximum generated power in accordance with an amount of charge of the power storage device when determining that the fuel cell electric vehicle is not traveling uphill, and
• increase the generated power of the fuel cell stack to the maximum generated power when determining that the fuel cell electric vehicle is traveling uphill.

A fuel cell system mounted on a fuel cell electric vehicle, the fuel cell system comprising:

• a fuel cell stack;
• a power storage device connected to a power line between the fuel cell stack and a load mounted on the fuel cell electric vehicle;
• and
• a controller configured to control power generation of the fuel cell stack, wherein
• the controller is configured to
• determine that the fuel cell electric vehicle is traveling uphill based on a requested power that the fuel cell electric vehicle requests from the power storage device, a speed of the fuel cell electric vehicle, an accelerator operation amount of the fuel cell electric vehicle, and an acceleration of the fuel cell electric vehicle, and
• increase a generated power of the fuel cell stack from the current generated power when determining that the fuel cell electric vehicle is traveling uphill wherein
• the controller is further configured to
• change the generated power of the fuel cell stack in a range of 0 to a maximum generated power in accordance with an amount of charge of the power storage device when determining that the fuel cell electric vehicle is not traveling uphill, and
• increase the generated power of the fuel cell stack to the maximum generated power when determining that the fuel cell electric vehicle is traveling uphill.
