Abstract
A defrosting method for a vehicle includes steps of: training a neural network model with collected image data, determining whether frost is present on a glass of a vehicle based on the trained neural network model, and performing control of defrosting according to whether the frost is present. A defrosting apparatus includes a neural network model training module configured to train the neural network model; a frost presence determination module configured to determine whether frost is present on the glass of the vehicle; and a defrosting control module configured to control defrosting according to whether the frost is present. The above modules of the defrosting apparatus constitute one or more controllers.
Claims17
A defrosting method for a vehicle, the defrosting method comprising:
- training a neural network model with collected image data;
- determining whether frost is present on a glass of the vehicle based on the trained neural network model, wherein the frost is a deposit of ice crystals formed on the glass when an air temperature falls below a freezing temperature of water;
- and
- performing control of defrosting of the vehicle according to whether the frost is present.
A defrosting apparatus for a vehicle, the defrosting apparatus comprising:
- a neural network model training module configured to train a neural network model with collected image data;
- a frost presence determination module configured to determine whether frost is present on a glass of the vehicle based on the trained neural network model, wherein the frost is a deposit of ice crystals formed on the glass when an air temperature falls below a freezing temperature of water;
- and
- a defrosting control module configured to control defrosting according to whether the frost is present.
