Mounting device, mounting method, and method for manufacturing product

A mounting device configured to mount a turning target to a turning processing device, the mounting device comprising:

• a pressing jig configured to press the turning target against the turning processing device;
• and
• a driving mechanism configured to drive the pressing fig, wherein
• to the pressing jig,
• a chuck portion configured to hold the turning target, contact members contactable with the turning target, and a force sensor configured to, via the contact members, detect a force in a pressing direction and a torque about an axis orthogonal to the pressing direction, the force and the torque acting from the turning processing device on the turning target, and a flat plate-shaped base portion extending in a direction orthogonal to the pressing direction, are attached,
• the flat plate-shaped base portion includes:
• a first main surface which is a surface extending in the direction orthogonal to the pressing direction;
• and
• a second main surface which is a surface extending in the direction orthogonal to the pressing direction and which is located on a back side of the first main surface,
• the chuck portion and the contact members are attached to the first main surface,
• the force sensor is attached on a side closer to the second main surface,
• the force sensor is attached to the driving mechanism, and
• the force sensor is located between the flat plate-shaped base portion and the driving mechanism.
