Abstract
Methods for treating and/or preventing drug-induced thrombocytopenia (DITP) and vaccine-induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndrome (VITT) with certain BTK inhibitors and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are provided.
Claims19
A method for treating vaccine-induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndrome (VITT) in a human subject in need thereof comprising administering to the human subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one BTK inhibitor selected from:
- Compound (I):
- where *C is a stereochemical center,
- Compound (II):
- where *C is a stereochemical center,
- and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
A method for increasing platelet count in a human subject with vaccine-induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndrome (VITT) comprising administering to the human subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one BTK inhibitor selected from:
- Compound (I):
- where *C is a stereochemical center,
- Compound (II):
- where *C is a stereochemical center,
- and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
A method for reducing platelet aggregation in a human subject with vaccine-induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndrome (VITT) comprising administering to the human subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one BTK inhibitor selected from:
- Compound (I):
- where *C is a stereochemical center,
- Compound (II):
- where *C is a stereochemical center,
- and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
