Abstract
To provide a cosmetic whose moisture-retaining property can be sufficiently secured even in cases where the cosmetic uses a hyaluronic acid compacted by neutralization of carboxyl groups of hyaluronic acid using a salt. A cosmetic of the present disclosure comprises a first agent containing at least one salt selected from the group consisting of an inorganic salt and an organic acid salt, and hyaluronic acid; and a second agent for swelling the hyaluronic acid, the second agent containing a chelating agent.
Claims7
A cosmetic comprising:
- a first agent configured for application to and spreading on a body surface or body hair, containing:
- at least one salt selected from the group consisting of an inorganic salt and an organic acid salt;
- hyaluronic acid;
- and
- an aqueous medium;
- a second agent for swelling the hyaluronic acid, the second agent containing:
- a chelating agent,
- wherein the organic acid salt is at least one selected from the group consisting of citrate, acetate, lactate, tartrate, succinate, malate, glycolate, salicylate, and pyrrolidone carboxylate,
- wherein the hyaluronic acid is compacted by the salt to form a particle having an average particle diameter of 200 nm or less at a sufficient ionic strength, and
- wherein the volume of the compacted hyaluronic acid in the first agent increases continuously by application of the second agent to the first agent.
