Twisted tip soft tissue anchors

An occlusive implant, comprising:

• an expandable framework having a central longitudinal axis extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the expandable framework being configured to shift between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration;
• wherein the expandable framework includes a plurality of anchor members extending radially outward from the expandable framework in the expanded configuration, each anchor member of the plurality of anchor members comprising a plurality of filaments that are twisted together to form a twisted filaments assembly, each twisted filament assembly forming:
• one or more base portions that are fixedly secured to the expandable framework;
• a plurality of anchor tips extending from each of the one or more base portions, each of the plurality of anchor tips configured to penetrate tissue;
• a tissue shelf formed by the plurality of anchor tips, the tissue shelf configured to limit how far each of the plurality of anchor tips penetrate the tissue;
• wherein each of the one or more base portions extend longitudinally along the expandable framework.
