Fluid feeding and suction apparatus, endoscope system, and method of suction residue by endoscope system

A fluid feeding and suction apparatus, comprising:

• a common conduit including an endoscopic connection end and a second end, the second end connected to a branch conduit;
• a fluid feeding conduit in fluid communication with the common conduit via the branch conduit;
• a fluid suction conduit in fluid communication with the common conduit via the branch conduit;
• a fluid feeding container configured to be connected to the fluid feeding conduit;
• a fluid suction container configured to be connected to the fluid suction conduit;
• a gas feeding conduit connected to the fluid feeding container, through which a supply gas is supplied;
• a gas suction conduit connected to the fluid suction container, through which a suction gas is drawn;
• a single pump connected to the gas feeding conduit and the gas suction conduit, the single pump being switchable between a gas feeding operation and a gas suction operation;
• a first check valve provided in the gas suction conduit, the first check valve being closed when the single pump performs the gas feeding operation and being opened when the single pump performs the gas suction operation;
• and
• a second check valve provided in the gas feeding conduit, the second check valve being opened when the single pump performs the gas feeding operation and being closed when the single pump performs the gas suction operation.
